| Mission Statement Accepting the belief that the local, visible Church is a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ who have united in covenant for the purpose of carrying out the commands of Christ, we declare the following as our mission statement: Proclaiming of the Word of God through preaching, and individual and collective witnessing so that individuals within the reach of our locale may be led to accept Christ as their personal Savior. Providing opportunity for all persons to worship and praise God so that they may in turn be led to render service as a result of their adoration of Him. Teaching and training believers in order to help them grow to become effective disciples for our Lord. Meeting the needs of members of this congregation and of mankind in general with the same compassionate spirit as shown by our Lord, through organized missionary programs. Exemplifying the tenderhearted and forgiving spirit toward each other that is commanded of us in His Word. |
