Pre-School's mission is to challenge students to exceed the kindergarten level of standards by developing skills in the following areas; Academic, Social, and Communication. H.O.P.E encourage students to develop a positive self concept and identity by using positive praise and reinforcement. H.O.P.E. envisions that all students will not only maintain, but exceed grade levels during their lifelong learning experiences. H.O.P.E. Pre-School is free of charge to any child age 3 - 5 Arch Ford educational Coop provides free testing and evaluation for any student upon recommendation and parent approval There has been a total enrollment of 262 over the last five years Facts: - Average enrollment per year 52 - 54% males - 46% females - 91% black - 8% white - 1% hispanic - 58% from single parent homes - 13% receive in home day care - 87% transported by pre-school |
